( outos / pre-release / catalogue of what exists )
OutOS is being built around that sentence. It is not finished, and this page will not pretend otherwise. What follows is a catalogue of what actually exists today. The artifact is item 05 ↓
Two figures describe the artifact: the version of the live system it writes, and the size of the download itself. Beneath them, the download's full SHA-256 - fetched from the same sidecar file the server publishes, never typed by hand.
The destructive step demands the exact disk number and serial of the USB stick, typed by hand. Non-USB targets are refused. Boot and system disks are refused. Internal disks are never touched. The machine is never restarted for you.
Format specimen, not an input. The real gate lives in the installer, on your machine, with your disk's real identity.
Unsigned. Unhidden. There is no EXE and no signing certificate yet - SmartScreen will warn you, and it should. In exchange, the entire installer is plain text: open every script in an editor before you run it.
Windows 10 / 11 · PowerShell · a USB stick you are willing to erase. Open the downloaded file to start the guided installer.

When OutOS itself ships, this page will say so. Until then it says this.
Set in your system's own type - no fonts were fetched to render this page, and nothing on it phones home. Built by outlabs; the company is Armatheus. Internal script names still read aw-os for compatibility.
